Day 6: Ohmsome

10.12.2009

Little O was still running a fever this day, so her parents decided to take her to the doctor. This meant that I got off work at 11. Wow! A free day! It was wonderful and awesome. I spent some time in the afternoon with the boyfriend and then in the evening, I finally put his birthday gift to use. He had bought me a massage and I was saving it for the perfect day. It was long and perfect and so awesome.  I was in a haze the rest of the evening, a beautiful and awesome haze.

That night the boyfriend and I decided to do some yoga. Please note that the boyfriend has never done yoga before. Hehehe. We did it at home with one of my dvds. It was my favorite one, Power Yoga. Its a great work out while still centering and relaxing you. However, it was hard to stay centered while laughing at the boyfriend the whole time. I loved hearing him admit that it was hard and intense. It was really fun. And completely awesome!
Anyone else just love awesome days full of relaxation?

  1. great post!
i just started up at a new yoga studio in my new town, with my husband. it's so totally awesome to wake up on sunday mornings and do this practice, which for me is both physical and spiritual, with him beside me. he struggles, and it's not totally his thing, but he's doing it! and he's awesome and good to me. and i love him. thanks for your post today.
btw, do you take all your photos? they rock.

“But it’s hard to stay mad when there’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once and it’s too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.” — American Beauty
