Lookin on the bright side...

12.16.2009

Yes. Today was not the greatest of days.
Until, I decided to turn it into one by looking at the bright side.
Here are some "bright side" moments from my day today.

I finished one of my handmade gifts and its lovely.
Little O (the baby I work with) entertained me all day.
I sent my fathers birthday card out this morning.
I was blessed with a lot of down time at work today.
I recieved a postcard from a good friend in Germany.
I have three new netflix ready and waiting to be watched.
I decided how I am wrapping my holiday gifts.
My apartment was warm when I got home.
I am cooking a yummy dinner.
The boyfriend is on his way over.

I truly believe that you can control the way you react to things.
The second i decided to look on the bright side,
things actually strarted feeling brighter.

What was waiting for you on your brightside?

  1. Yay for the bright side of things, and I believe we can control how we act, and feel as well.

  2. Love this post has made me look on the bright side of things again :) Some times it can be difficult it depends on the situation. I like to stop and breath, collect myself and think of a few good things and that usually brings my day back up =)

“But it’s hard to stay mad when there’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once and it’s too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.” — American Beauty
