He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.  ~Clarence Budington Kelland

A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.  ~Author Unknown

A father is always making his baby into a little woman.  And when she is a woman he turns her back again.  ~Enid Bagnold

These three quotes resonate so deeply for me. My father truly is the greatest man I know. I couldnt have gotten to this day with out him. As far back as I can remember my mother had told me that I have my father wrapped around my finger. I think she may be right. And I wouldnt have it any other way.

I love you daddy. Happy day.

Back.

It was sunny and warm and all kinds of fun. Now Ken and are lounging around on our computers sunkissed and stuffed from dinner and ice cream out on Mississippi. A perfect day.
Speaking of Kendra, I have been meaning to share her wonderful blog! She started it a few months ago and it is pretty darn good! I love it, and Im sure you will too. Please go check it!

My photography is one of the biggest passions that I hold. This job brings me so much joy, I couldnt even begin to explain it. I get to not only hear love stories, but I then, get to see them first hand and help share those stories in beautiful and unique ways. I love love love it. And I would love love love your thoughts on the fresh site. Take a peek and let me know. (oh, and if you know anyone in need of epic photographyness, send em my way!)

You wrote me a comment about my header image being copyrighted. I have been trying to find the artist to ask permission and/or give credit to but have had no luck. I have also had multiple bloggers interested in finding the artist as well and would love to pass on the name. If you are or know the artist I would appreciate the info instead of the threat. Why you would post the comment anonymously is beyond me when I am sensitive to all artists wishes involving their work. Id really appreciate it if you would share the info so I can speak with the artist myself.

“But it’s hard to stay mad when there’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once and it’s too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst. And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.” — American Beauty
